Terms of Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal use. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, branding, and the SIDeck duck.

• ▸The license is for your use only — you may not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Apps or your access to them.
• ▸You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Apps except as expressly permitted by law.
• ▸We may release updates from time to time; these Terms apply to updates unless they ship with their own terms.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.

• ▸Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• ▸Keep your password and any pairing codes private — do not share them.
• ▸Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We ask that you use SIDeck Studio responsibly. You agree not to:

• ▸Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to overload the Service, our relay, or other users.
• ▸Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Apps, or attempt to extract source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• ▸Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• ▸Circumvent licensing, entitlement, or security mechanisms.

SIDeck Studio lets your phone control software on your desktop over your local network. You are responsible for how you configure and use LAN control, including which devices you pair and the actions you trigger on your own machine and network.

SIDeck Studio can integrate with third-party software and platforms so you can control them from your phone. These services are owned and operated by their respective owners, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

SIDeck Studio is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these companies. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the integrations we support.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIDeck Studio and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are always improving SIDeck Studio, and we may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Terms here and update the date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
