Privacy Policy

SIDeck Studio is LAN-first by design. Control commands travel directly between your phone and your desktop host over a local WebSocket connection on your own Wi-Fi — device to device, not through our servers.

• ▸Audio and microphone data are processed entirely on your local machine and are never transmitted to us or to any third party.
• ▸Mixer levels, OBS scene switches, and macro triggers are sent point-to-point on your network; we cannot see them.
• ▸We never record, store, or relay the contents of your stream.

Signing in is optional but unlocks syncing across your devices. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, which supports email, Sign in with Apple, and Sign in with Google.

When you create an account we store an account identifier and the email address associated with it. We use these to recognize you across devices and to send essential service messages. We do not store passwords — they are managed by Firebase or your identity provider.

With a Pro subscription you can sync your macro layouts across devices. These layouts are stored privately for your account using Supabase, and are accessible only to you.

• ▸Pro remote macros use a Cloudflare relay that you explicitly opt into and enable on your own desktop host — it is off by default.
• ▸When the relay is enabled, only the macro commands you fire pass through it so a paired phone can reach your desktop from outside your home network.
• ▸You can disable cloud sync and the relay at any time from the app.

We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage — which features are used and where things break — so we can make the app better. This data is aggregated and used for product and diagnostic purposes; we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

We work with a small set of trusted providers to run SIDeck Studio. Each handles only the data needed for its role:

We retain your account identifier, email, and synced macro layouts for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove this data from our active systems; residual copies in backups are purged on our normal backup-rotation cycle.

We do not sell your personal data, and we never have. To exercise any of these rights, just email us — we are happy to help.

• ▸Access and export — request a copy of the account data we hold about you.
• ▸Deletion — ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it.
• ▸Correction — update your email or account details at any time.
• ▸Opt-out — disable cloud sync, the remote relay, and analytics from within the app.

SIDeck Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or by email where appropriate.
